The utility relates to a switch device and a clock, and provides a switch device in a simple structure which can well protect an operation part and a clock with the switch device. The switch device is provided with a watch case (1) with a through hole (7), the operation part (8) and a guiding protecting portion (14). The operation part (8) is provided with an operation shaft portion (9) inserted in the through hole of the watch case and an operation head portion (10) arranged at an end portion of the operation shaft portion and protruding outside the watch case. The guiding protecting portion (14) is arranged on the watch case and which can movably hold the operation head portion. Through the arrangement of the guiding protecting portion which is arranged on the watch case and which can movably hold an operation head portion, even if the operation head portion of the operation part is impacted from the outside, the operation head portion is prevented from moving along a direction which is axial orthogonal to the guiding protecting portion through the utilization of the guiding protecting portion, and accordingly, bending deforming or damages of the operation shaft portion of the operation part due to impact can be reliably prevented. |
