Provided is a communication system based on Ethernet. The communication system includes: a first unit which generates a reference clock signal by using a first Ethernet signal inputted, responds to the reference clock signal, multiplexes the first Ethernet signal and a second Ethernet signal, and outputs the multiplexed Ethernet signal; a second unit which generates the reference clock signal by using the multiplexed Ethernet signal, responds to the reference clock signal, separates the second Ethernet signal from the multiplexed Ethernet signal, and outputs the first Ethernet signal; and a transmission medium which connects the first unit and the second unit, and transmits the multiplexed Ethernet signal from the first unit to the second unit. |
