<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aqueous coating material which exhibits excellent stain resistance, especially low stain maintenance performance, and is excellent in transparency and weatherability, and to provide a painted article applied with the aqueous coating material. <P>SOLUTION: The aqueous coating material includes a polymer (I), a colloidal silica (II), an anionic surfactant (III), a nonionic surfactant, and an organic hydrazine compound. The polymer (I) is obtained by copolymerizing a monomer (a) consisting of a hydrolyzable silyl group-containing radically polymerizable monomer and/or a multifunctional monomer having at least two radically polymerizable groups, an ethylenically unsaturated monomer (b) containing carbonyl group and/or aldehyde group, and the other copolymerizing monomer (c). The organic hydrazine compound has at least two hydrazino groups in the molecule. A painted article applied with the aqueous coating material is also provided. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
