Provided are a method and a graphics system for selecting a sampling pattern from sampling patterns having a sampling rate and performing graphics processing dithering the selected sampling pattern. The method for performing graphics processing includes the following steps: selecting sampled tiles at an average sampling rate lower than one sample per pixel; selecting a sampling pattern for each of the selected tiles from different sampling patterns having the average sampling rate; and changing the selected sampling pattern for temporal color averaging.
