A carrying device 10 for at least one compressed-gas bottle 20 of a respiratory apparatus is disclosed, in which the or each compressed-gas bottle can be fixed on the carrying device by means of a securing device 18, 22 engaging with a first and a second holding point 14, 16. The carrying device is distinguished by the fact that the position of at least one holding point can be changed. In one embodiment the securing device comprises a clasp body 22 and a strap 18.
