The switch (10) has an overcurrent tripping device (20) to stop flow of current through the switch during thermal over-loading, where the overcurrent tripping device includes a shaft (30) to be rotated from a position to another position in an overcurrent situation to indicate an overcurrent situation. A thermal tripping device (60) includes another shaft (70) to be rotated in the event of rotation of the former shaft and thermal over-loading event so as to initiate switching off of the switch when the latter shaft is rotated.
