The present invention relates to a composition for controlling plant diseases comprising niclosamide or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, as an active ingredient, to a method for controlling plant diseases comprising a step of inhibiting growth of pathogenic bacteria by treating the composition to the plant, and to a plant disease controlling agent comprising the composition. The composition for controlling plant diseases comprising niclosamide as an active ingredient of the present invention are effective in controlling bacterial leaf blight of rice, and thus being useful in the productivity improvement of rice. |
