<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for installing the turnout of a track rail for achieving the labor saving of an installation work and the reduction of costs. <P>SOLUTION: A process of delivering and loading turnouts A including rails following at least a pair of straight lines constructed in parallel on a sleeper on the appropriate number of turnout trucks 1 which travel at appropriate intervals on a track rail, and a hanging rod assembly process of assembling a hanging rod 3 freely attachably and detachably via a hanging metal fitting 2 on the pair of rails of the turnout, are sequentially performed. Then, the turnout trucks 1 on which the turnouts A are loaded are moved to a turnout installation place where the appropriate number of rail height-crossing units T are arranged in parallel along the traveling direction of the turnout trucks 1 by removing old turnouts.
