<p>The present invention provides a hollow fiber membrane module comprising: a fiber bundle comprising a plurality of hollow fiber membranes; a cylindrical case that houses the fiber bundle and has a plurality of nozzles on a side surface; and a pair of fixing units at both ends of the fiber bundle inside the cylindrical case, whereby the gaps between the outer surfaces of the hollow fiber membranes and the gap between said outer surfaces and the inside surface of the cylindrical case are sealed. The hollow fiber membrane module has a ratio (S2/S1) between the flowpath cross-sectional area (S1) on the outside of hollow fiber membranes and the nozzle flowpath cross-sectional area (S2) of 0.15-0.60.</p> |
