Pressure sensitive adhesive tape (I) for flying splice of flat web materials , comprises at least one splittable carrier (12) and two layers of adhesive, where at least one of the adhesives is a pressure-sensitive silicone adhesive (silicone PSA). An independent claim is included for a method of producing (I), comprising coating the silicone PSA onto at least one side of a carrier material and crosslinking on the carrier material with electron beams.
