<p>A fourth matrix is produced by copying the elements of the rank independent lines in a third matrix and adding the lines of a second matrix with line indices. The fourth matrix is transformed into a fifth matrix with rank independent lines. The rank independent lines in the fifth matrix having a line index of the second matrix are detected. Code symbols from each detected line index are sent by a transmitter to a receiver as error correction symbols for reconstructing source symbols. The method starts with a matrix generator producing first and second matrices into either of which a specific line of a coding matrix is copied. Each line of the second matrix is marked with a line index according to a line number of the coding matrix. The first matrix is transformed into a third matrix with rank independent lines.</p> |
