PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To refine molten iron of low copper concentration (copper content rate) by efficiently removing copper contained in iron scrap.SOLUTION: Iron scrap 9 containing copper components is heated to the temperature, at which copper in copper components is melted, by using a first heat source to melt copper while applying the rotational force to the iron scrap 9. Copper 12 melted out of the iron scrap 9 is separated by the rotational force. The iron scrap 9 is melted in a melting furnace 3 by using a second heat source. |
