<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maximize a casting speed while making a final solidifying position of a cast slab be continuously positioned inside a continuous casting machine. <P>SOLUTION: A device 10 for controlling the continuous casting machine includes: a final solidifying position estimating means 12a for estimating a final solidifying position of a cast slab in the future when a current or past casting speed is maintained and also a final solidifying position of a cast slab in the future when the current or past casting speed is changed; and a displaying device 13 for displaying at least one or more final solidifying positions of a cast slab estimated by the final solidifying position estimating means 12a. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
