<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve efficiency of conversion from energy by recombination of carriers to light in a semiconductor optical element, by improving exhaust heat efficiency of heat generated by injecting the carriers to the semiconductor optical element. <P>SOLUTION: This two-dimensional optical element array includes a substrate, and a plurality of semiconductor optical elements two-dimensionally disposed at positions each of which has a prescribed period T1 with respect to both of a first axis line and a second axis line crossing the first axis line at a prescribed angle on the substrate, while having an active layer in which the carriers are injected to emit light, and at least one of the positions is a non-optical element position where none of the semiconductor optical elements is formed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
