A roller 15 is mounted on a ball-bearing 21 itself mounted on a spindle 22 fixed to a bar 13 secured to the load lifting carriage 10 of an industrial truck. The spindle 22 is provided with a circumferential groove 28 of which at least a part follows a helical path. The groove 28 is tangentially engaged by a clamping bolt 29 for a split housing 31. When the bolt 29 is loosened, rotation of the spindle 22 effects longitudinal movement of the spindle 22 with respect to the clamping bolt 29 and hence lateral adjustment of the position of the roller 15. Two diametrically opposed sockets 30 comprise means whereby the spindle 22 may be rotated. |
