<p>A description follows of a granule, flake or powder of a thermoplastic and/or thermosetting polymer, coloured and/or containing additives, consisting of a nucleus of neutral thermoplastic and/or thermosetting polymer and a surface layer of dye and/or additive. A process is also described for the preparation of a granule, flake or powder of thermoplastic and/or thermosetting polymer, coloured and/or containing additives, characterized in that it comprises the following passages: a) the granule, flake or powder of polymer to be dyed and/or additivated is placed in a high-speed mixer and heated to the melting temperature of the dye(s) and/or additive (s); b) the dye(s) and/or additive (s) are added to the mixer and the system mixed at a high speed and c) the granule, flake or powder of thermoplastic and/or thermosetting polymer, coloured and/or containing additives is discharged.</p> |
