<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dynamo-electric machine in which the operating area from high torque low rotational speed to low torque high rotational speed can be expanded.SOLUTION: Teeth 30 of a stator is divided into at least a first teeth 31 and a second teeth 32, and the second teeth 32 is made rotatable relatively to the first teeth 31 between a first position where the magnetic resistance is relatively low and a second position where the magnetic resistance is relatively high. When the second teeth 32 is at the second position, the area from the stator yoke side end of a winding to be electrified, in a winding arrangement area around the teeth 30, to the rotor side end of the winding arrangement area is divided into a first area A1 on the rotor side and a second area A2 on the stator yoke side at the intermediate position in the arrangement direction of the teeth 31, 32 as a boundary. The electrification winding space factor, defined by the ratio of the actual winding total cross-sectional area of an electrification winding 40E existing in the area to the cross-sectional area of the first and second areas, is set relatively smaller in the first area A1 than that in the second area A2.</p> |
