<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce temporal and economical loss by trial pressing or mold repairing, thereby shortening a delivery period and cost reduction of press molded articles in multistage press molding. <P>SOLUTION: An automatically searching system of a mold size for multistep drawing is characterized by having a means for automatically searching the size of the mold using numerical value simulation and a hereditary algorithm of the press molding, in a press molding system plastically deforming the metal plate body utilizing the relative movement of the mold and the metal plate body.
