Air conditioning system having a thermal storage module in a secondary circuit

The installation has an air-conditioning loop (1) allowing circulation of a refrigerant (FR) e.g. R134a, and a secondary loop (4) allowing circulation of a coolant (FC). A heat exchanger (3) e.g. gas cooler, exchanges heat between the refrigerant and the coolant. The secondary loop has a heat storage module (10) provided with a phase change material (11) that exchanges heat with the coolant when an input temperature (Te) of the coolant inside the module is higher than a threshold temperature of the material, where the threshold temperature is comprised between 25 and 35 degree Celsius.
