The wristwatch has an open housing arranged in a case (1), and a wristlet (2) provided with an end (21) that is arranged in the open housing. A fastening unit holds the end of the wristlet in the housing and includes another housing that opens onto the former housing. A fastening element is arranged in the latter housing, and occupies a part of the former housing. A retaining unit is provided for retaining the fastening element that is formed as a bar. The retaining unit includes a radial retaining element in addition to an axial retaining unit.
