PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration type driver and a manufacturing method thereof which implements low cost and high accuracy.SOLUTION: A vibration type driver relatively moves a mobile body in contact with a vibrator by exciting the vibrator in an elliptic motion by applying AC voltage to an electromechanical energy conversion element. The mobile body comprises a main ring part and a plurality of blade spring parts. Each of the blade spring parts comprises: a fixing part for connecting the blade spring part and the main ring part; a contact part for contacting with the vibrator; and a coupling part for coupling the contact part and the fixing part. The blade spring parts are connected to the main ring part through the fixing parts with a space part between the main ring part and the contact parts so that the blade spring parts have predetermined spring rigidity when the coupling parts are deformed by contact of the contact parts with the vibrator. |
