<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve durability of a pressing member and rotary members, while preventing such a situation that a temporal sliding resistance increases between the inner peripheral surface of the rotary member and the outer peripheral surface of the pressing member that presses, from the inside of one of the two rotary members forming a fixing nip, the one rotary member towards the other rotary member. <P>SOLUTION: The fixing device includes: two rotary members coming into contact with each other, a heating member being attached to at least one of the rotary members; a pressing member that is disposed on an inner peripheral area of one of the rotary members and presses the rotary member to the other rotary member; and a low-friction sliding friction member that is disposed on the outer peripheral surface of the pressing member. The sliding friction member is rotationally turned along with the pressing member, and a film strength of an innermost layer that is positioned in the inner peripheral surface of the rotary member in which the pressing member is disposed is set larger than the surface strength of the sliding friction member. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
