<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the total power consumption of an image forming apparatus itself and an external connecting device when an electric power is supplied to the connecting device from the image forming apparatus to be obtained in the image forming apparatus capable of feeding the electric power to the external connecting device. <P>SOLUTION: An external connecting device information acquiring means 101 acquires information such as the type of external connecting device memorized beforehand in the external connecting device, power supply method and current consumption value when the external connecting device is connected. The information required for calculating the power consumption of the image forming apparatus and external connecting device are memorized in a power information storage means 103. A power consumption calculation means 105 computes the total power consumption of the image forming apparatus and external connecting device, TEC value, CO<SB POS="POST">2</SB>emissions and electricity bill according to the information acquired by the external connecting device information acquiring means 101 and the information memorized in the power information storage means 103, and a power consumption display means 106 makes the display part display them. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
