摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiation detection device capable of improving the specification accuracy of a detection address in a scintillator array.SOLUTION: A radiation detection device 100 comprises a scintillator array 10 composed of N×M scintillator elements 11, a position detection type photomultiplier tube 20 configured so as to output a plurality of detection signals, a counting rate acquisition part 40 for acquiring a counting rate at the photomultiplier tube 20, a detection position derivation part 30 for deriving a detection position (X, Y) on the basis of the plurality of detection signals from the photomultiplier tube 20, and a detection address derivation part 50 for converting the detection position into a detection address (n, m) showing a corresponding scintillator element 11 in the scintillator array 10. In addition, the derivation part 50 converts the detection position into the detection address by address conversion table set on the basis of the counting rate acquired by the acquisition part 40.
