摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hybrid vehicle drive device and an energy recovery method for the internal combustion engine in the hybrid vehicle, capable of efficiently recovering rotation energy of the internal combustion engine. <P>SOLUTION: This drive device includes an engine 1 and a large motor 4, as a driving source. A large clutch 9 engaging/disengaging power transmission between the engine 1 and a transmission 8 is connected between them. The rotational force from the engine 1 is transmitted to a wheel 14 via the large clutch 9 and the transmission 8 and a differential mechanism 13 and serves as the driving force of the vehicle. The rotational force of the large motor 4 is transmitted to the wheel 14 via the differential mechanism 13 and serves as the driving force of the vehicle. The drive device further includes: a small motor 5 driven from the engine 1 and freely generating electric power and a small clutch 6 connected between the engine 1 and the small motor 5 and capable of freely engaging/disengaging the power transmission between them. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
