<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a load cell having a small gap for overload prevention at low cost. <P>SOLUTION: A stopper 3 attached to a load cell body 2 to regulate a displacement in a movable part 5 includes a displacement member 11 attached to the movable part 5 to displace in interlock with the movable part 5, and a regulation member 12 attached to a fixing part 4 so as to come into contact with the displacement member 11 and regulating the displacement of the displacement member. The displacement member 11 and the regulation member 12 have opposite surfaces facing each other, and a gap G for a stopper for regulating a displacement in the displacement member 11 is formed by both opposite surfaces.
