<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that since the width of a gap part or a branched electrode part of an upper electrode in a pixel relates to electric field intensity applied to a liquid crystal layer, and affects light transmittance in a liquid crystal display device of an FFS system, processing dimensional variation in the upper electrode is easily visually recognized as the display unevenness of the liquid crystal display device.SOLUTION: An upper electrode 8 in a liquid crystal display device of an FFS system includes regions in which a ratio R(=C/W) of width C of a gap part 81 to width W of a branch electrode part 82 adjacent to the gap differs, and includes both of a region S2 in which light transmittance T increases and a region S3 in which the light transmittance decreases with respect to changes of increase (R2→R2b, R3→R3b) in the ratio R due to dimensional variation.</p> |
