<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rice cooking container for a microwave oven which cooks rice by the microwave oven, has a new structure, and can cook good quality rice by more evenly heating rice stored in the container. <P>SOLUTION: The rice cooking container for a microwave oven has a bottomed container body 12 storing rice and water, a lid member 16 which is superposed on the container body 12 and covers the opening 14 of the container body 12.
