The present invention relates to an induction cooktop comprising at least one cooking zone having more than one concentric and nested area, more than one coil that separately forms the areas of the cooking zone, a generator providing the separate driving of the coil forming each area, a sensor unit providing the detection of the load of each coil separately when the cooking vessel is placed on the cooking zone and a control unit that first operates the generator corresponding to the outermost area when the cooking zone is operated by the user, drives the coil forming the outermost area by a signal, determines whether or not the cooking vessel placed on the cooking zone and covers the outermost area with respect to the relation of the respective coil current. |
