The invention relates to a mould for hot application of a coating layer (3) onto a thermoformed piece (2) and the method therefor. The mould preferably comprises inserts (11, 12, 13) secured to the half-moulds (S1, S2), which are thermally conditioned by a circulating fluid that is independent of the fluid circulating in the half-moulds (S1, S2). It is thus possible to carry out the heating and cooling cycles required by the coupling process in short times, with lower energy consumption. |
