A windturbine generator of the present invention includes: a rotor (1) composed of a hub (3) and a blade; a nacelle (4) pivotably supporting the rotor via a rotary shaft connected to the hub (3) and storing therein a power generator connected to the rotary shaft; a tower (5) supporting the nacelle; a pitch actuator changing and thereby adjusting a pitch angle of the blade; and a pitch controller outputting a command value to the pitch actuator, wherein, at the pitch controller, a detected command for stopping the rotor (1) is outputted to the pitch actuator, and the pitch controller mechanically fixes the rotor after confirmation that shifting to a manual state has occurred and, based on the command for stopping the rotor from the pitch controller, increases the pitch angle of the blade to make the angle larger than a pitch angle of the blade in a feather state during deceleration. |
