The endoscope has a window (60) at a distal end (20) of the endoscope, and has an inner body (50) with a material at the distal end. A cylindrical shell is provided with another material at the distal end, where the window and the inner body are assembled. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing an endoscope.
