<p>This invention relates to a downhole tool (100) package including a downhole tool comprising at least one pocket (106) for insertion of an insert (109) for reaming, cutting or stabilizing, each pocket being accessible from the external surface (104) of the tool body (101) and being associated with a channel (105) extending from said external surface (104) to the bottom of the pocket (106) and forming an opening (111) at the bottom of the pocket (106). The tool package preferably also comprises a pushing object (112) which can be introduced into said channel (105) and means for pushing this object (112) via the opening (111) against an insert (109) inserted in said pocket (106). The invention also relates to a method for removing an insert (109) from a pocket (106) in this tool, including the step of applying a removing force onto the insert (109) through the channel (105) and through the opening (111).</p> |
