The present invention relates to an apparatus for indicating opening or closing of a valve. The apparatus for indicating opening or closing of a valve comprises: a cylinder to open and close a valve; an indication unit installed in a space separated from a space in which the valve is disposed to indicate opening or closing of the valve; a first hydraulic line whose one end connected to a head portion of the cylinder and whose the other end is connected to the indication unit; and a second hydraulic line whose one end connected to a rod portion of the cylinder and whose the other end is connected to the indication unit. The indication unit uses a difference between an oil pressure supplied by the first hydraulic line and an oil pressure supplied by the second hydraulic line to indicate opening or closing of the valve. The apparatus for indicating opening or closing of the valve in accordance with the present invention uses the pressure difference between the oil pressures supplied along the hydraulic lines to simply indicate opening or closing of the valve by the indication unit to allow a worker to check a condition of the valve and control a handle without approaching the space in which the valve is installed to maximize efficiency of valve operation.
