1. An optical disc library apparatus comprising a cartridge storing a plurality of discs each disc having a periphery; a drive carrying out recording and playback with respect to the plurality of discs; and a robot carrying out disc movements between said cartridge and said drive, wherein:
the robot comprises a first guiding groove; the cartridge further comprises a plurality of racks, each rack comprising a guiding groove, the guiding grooves of the plurality of racks further comprising inclined faces sandwiching each of the plurality of discs; springs are provided in the guiding grooves of said racks; inclined faces are formed in said springs; and the periphery of a disc is point restrained in three places by the first guiding groove and two of said guiding grooves of the plurality of racks during disc movement.
