1. A communication system for use with a communication network, the communication system comprising:
a first entertainment device in communication with the communication network, the first entertainment device comprising a software client for providing a two-way communication between the first entertainment device and a telephony device in communication with the communication network; an application server connected to the communication network, the application server for communicating with the software client of the first entertainment device and to facilitate the two-way communication between the first entertainment device and the telephony device; and a secondary entertainment device in communication with the first entertainment device, wherein the first entertainment device facilitates access by the secondary entertainment device to the telephony device connected to the communication network through a connection with the first entertainment device, wherein the first entertainment device comprises a set top box, wherein the secondary entertainment device comprises a video game console for providing a voice telephony to the telephony device.
