Alcohol louching receptacle

A beverage receptacle for louching alcohol. Particular implementations include a beverage receptacle with a first reservoir and a second reservoir coupled by a communication channel with a minimum diameter sufficient to cause dripping. Beverage receptacle dimensions and features may vary. Communication channel may comprise any of a plurality of shapes and sizes and may even comprise a controllable valve. Mixed beverage may be served directly from the beverage receptacle or in a separate glass.

1. An alcohol louching receptacle system, comprising:
a first reservoir comprising a first opening and a second opening, the first opening being sized to receive ice and a liquid therethrough and the second opening being sized smaller than the first opening; a second reservoir comprising a first opening and a second opening; a communication channel extending between the second opening of the first reservoir and the first opening of the second reservoir, the communication channel being variable in width, wherein a portion of the communication channel comprises a minimum width portion comprising a width of between 5 millimeters and 13 millimeters; the system further comprising a first width portion positioned proximate the first opening of the first reservoir and a second width portion smaller than the first width portion and larger than the minimum width portion, the second width portion positioned proximate the second opening of the first reservoir.
