The present invention relates to a method for preparing a hierarchically porous zeolite, and a use of the hierarchically porous zeolite prepared thereby as a catalyst for normal paraffin hydroisomerization. The method includes: (A) thermally treating a reactant containing a silicon precursor, an aluminum precursor, a phosphorus precursor, water, and a structural derivative; (B) adding phenylphosphonic acid, carbon black, or a mixture thereof to the mixture prepared by step (A), followed by mixing; (C) thermally treating the mixture prepared by step (B), followed by crystallization and cooling to room temperature; and (D) sintering the cooled and crystallized substance. Accordingly, the time for which the reactants and products stay in zeolite crystals by meso-pores is short, and increased yields of paraffin isomers, effectively improved cloud and pour points, and high hydroisomerization reactivity without any loss can obtained when the zeolite is applied as a metal active ingredient-supported catalyst for normal paraffin hydroisomerization with respect to hydrocarbon materials of diesel or lube base oil regions due to low proportion of acid centers present on the outer surface with respect to the total acid centers. |
