The present invention relates to an exhaust system for a combustion engine, which comprises: an exhaust line (2) wherein at least one exhaust gas purification device (3) is arranged; and at least one branch duct (4) arranged in parallel with the exhaust gas purification device (3) and further, blocked by at least one rupture disk (5). In the rupture disk (5), a rupture aid, which can be controlled and operated by a control device (12) in accordance with at least one prescribed parameter, is arranged. According to the present invention, the rupture aid is formed by at least one heating element (13) and/or at least one explosive element (20) and/or a gas or liquid working medium. At least one rupture disk can be weakened and/or destroyed so as to allow exhaust gas to flow through the branch duct (4) by means of the rupture aid. |
