A flexible display device comprises: a flexible panel including a display unit for displaying a screen, and a user interface unit in which a user input is possible; a sensing unit for sensing a position of a handheld on the flexible panel; and a control unit for changing positions of the user interface unit and the display unit on the flexible panel according to the position of the handheld. Accordingly, the flexible display device may be used without having a part hidden by a user′s hand, so user readability and work performance may be improved.
