In the present invention, provided is a catalyst for abating nitrogen oxide including a base material and a catalyst layer coated on the base material, wherein the catalyst layer includes a first support; a first composite particle including a nitrogen oxide-absorbing catalyst and an oxidation catalyst supported on the first support; a second support; and a second composite particle including a nitrogen oxide-absorbing catalyst and an oxidation catalyst supported on the second support. The first support is selected from alumina (Al2O3), Mg-substituted alumina (MgAl2O4) and a combination thereof. The second support is selected from ceria (Ce), a composite ceria and a combination thereof. The nitrogen oxide-absorbing catalyst is selected from Ba, K, Ce and a combination thereof. The first composite particle has 40 to 95% of oxidation catalyst activity, represented by the following Formula (1). Further, in the present invention provided are a method for preparing the catalyst for abating nitrogen oxide and a catalyst system for abating nitrogen oxide including the catalyst. Formula (1) is the same as described in the specification. |
