a first planetary gear mechanism; a second planetary gear mechanism; a first clutch; a second clutch configured to connect and disconnect a ring gear of the first planetary gear mechanism and an engine to and from each other; a brake configured to regulate rotation of a carrier of the second planetary gear mechanism in an engagement state, wherein a sun gear of the first planetary gear mechanism is connected to a first motor generator, a carrier of the first planetary gear mechanism is connected to a driving wheel, the ring gear of the first planetary gear mechanism is connected to the engine, and a sun gear of the second planetary gear mechanism is connected to a second motor generator, the carrier of the second planetary gear mechanism is connected to the ring gear of the first planetary gear mechanism and the engine through the first clutch, and a ring gear of the second planetary gear mechanism is connected to the driving wheel.
