According to the present invention, an engine output torque control method of a vehicle control apparatus comprises the steps of: determining whether or not a brake signal is turned on; confirming whether or not there is at least a predetermined variation of the vehicle moving speed when the brake signal is turned on; confirming whether or not there is at least a predetermined variation of a steering angle of a vehicle when there is at least the predetermined variation of the vehicle moving speed; and reducing output torque of an engine when there is at least the predetermined variation of the steering angle of the vehicle.
