The present invention relates to location-based service providing method based on a zone, and an apparatus and a system therefor. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the method for providing a location-based service on a communications network comprises the following steps: setting a charging policy for each product; assigning at least one zone for the product respectively; registering a cell identifier of a cell included in the zone; identifying the zone based on base station information included in a charging data record (CDR) when the CDR occurs; and performing charging for the CDR based on the identified zone. Therefore, the method has a benefit of more effectively providing the location-based service based on the zone. |
