The present invention relates to a front seat cover for a headrest of a vehicle and a method for manufacturing the same. The present invention forms a seam allowance unit by heating and compressing a cushion pad and an impregnation preventing coating film covering the top surface along the edge of the seat cover, and can omit the conventional process of cutting the edge of the laminated cushion pad and the impregnation preventing coating film through a separate cutting process and the process of reducing and cutting them to form and expose the seam allowance unit along the edge of the seat cover. Thus, the present invention can simplify the manufacturing process and the manufacturing facilities to improve productivity and reduce the manufacturing unit cost. In particular, since the seam allowance unit is formed by heating and compressing the cushion pad and the impregnation preventing coating film covering the top surface along the edge of the seat cover, the side surface of the cushion pad protruding from the top surface of the seat cover in a preset thickness and making a cushion layer is wrapped through the impregnation preventing coating film, and the impregnation of foamed material in the cushion pad is prevented without a separate coating or shielding process to prevent hardening of the cushion pad. |
