The present invention provides a system for dropping an underwater light which manually or automatically winds or unwinds a cable to which an underwater light is connected, and uses a boom bar to drop the underwater light from a point horizontally separated from a ship by a certain distance. According to the present invention, the system for dropping an underwater light comprises: a hydraulic rotation cylinder which is installed on a ship and converts linear motion into rotational motion; a column installed on an upper portion of the hydraulic rotation cylinder; a boom bar installed on an upper end of the column in one direction; a roller unit installed on a front end of the boom bar and provided with a roller playing a role of a pulley; a slope adjustment cylinder whose lower end is connected to a lower end of the column and whose upper end is connected to a portion of the boom bar adjacent to a portion where the boom bar and the column are connected to adjust a slope of the boom bar; a winch installed on an upper or a lower portion of the boom bar to wind and unwind a cable wherein an underwater light is connected to an end thereof; and a control unit to control and monitor overall operation of the system. |
