METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR ITERATIVE INTERFERENCE ALIGNMENT FOR DOWNLINK MULTI-USER MULIT-INPUT MULTI-OUTPUT

Provided are a method and apparatus for aligning an iterative interference for a downlink multi-user multi-input multi-output (MU-MIMO). The method for aligning an interference comprises the following steps: transmitting a transmission beamforming vector, which is arbitrarily generated, to a user terminal; receiving, from the user terminal, a reception beamforming vector calculated to minimize an interference based on the transmission beamforming vector; and updating the transmission beamforming vector based on the reception beamforming vector. Particularly, the method for aligning the interference comprises the following steps: calculating a space of the transmission beamforming vector which minimizes the interference of an inter-basic service set based on the reception beamforming vector; calculating a transmission beamforming matrix which considers the interference of the intra-basic service set based on the reception beamforming vector; and updating the transmission beamforming vector by using the space of the transmission beamforming vector and the transmission beamforming matrix.
