Disclosed is a method for coating a home key in a mobile device, which ensures an increase in the surface hardness of the home key in the mobile device comprising a finger scan sensor therein and of which various colors can be implemented. In addition, disclosed is a coating structure of the home key. According to an embodiment of the present invention, a method for coating a home key in a mobile device comprises the following steps: preparing the home key of the mobile device; and forming a coating layer on the surface of the home key using ceramic paint. According to another aspect of the present invention, a method for coating a home key in a mobile device comprises the following steps: forming a coating layer on the surface of the home key in the mobile device by using ceramic paint; and forming the coating layer on a bezel, which is coupled to the home key, by using conductive paint.
