<p>The invention relates to a system for identifying objects in a predetermined space, including a plurality of RFID transponders (1) carried by the objects to be identified and an RFID reader (2) for reading the information contained in the transponders. The reader is capable of emitting at least one UHF querying signal (S1) to the transponders. In a first operating mode, the transponders are powered by said querying signal and, in response to the querying signal, send back a UHF response signal (S2) by back-modulation to the reader. The system also comprises at least one radiofrequency power source (3), contained in an area (Z1) of said space and capable of emitting an energy signal (S3) toward the transponders of the area. In a second operating mode, the transponders (1) contained in the area are powered by the energy signal (S3) and send back a response signal in response to the querying signal (S1).</p> |
