<p>The invention relates to a method for regenerating a catalyst for producing aromatic hydrocarbons or reforming including at least one step a) of combustion in an a combustion area A including at least one combustion reaction section, by placing the catalyst to be regenerated in contact with a combustion gas optionally including a make-up gas containing oxygen; a step b) of oxychlorination in an oxychlorination area B including at least one oxychlorination reaction area, by placing the catalyst from the combustion area A in contact with a gaseous mixture including at least one chlorinating agent, at least water or water precursors, at least one portion of the waste gas coming directly from the combustion area A and optionally at least one make-up gas including oxygen; a step c) of calcination in a calcination/cooling area C including at least one calcination reaction area, by placing the catalyst from the oxychlorination area B in contact with a calcination gas including at least one make-up gas containing oxygen; and a step d) of cooling the regenerated catalyst at the bottom of the calcination/cooling area C by means of a make-up gas containing oxygen; in which said catalyst includes a substrate, chlorine and at least one noble metal, and circulates in series through the combustion area A, then through the oxychlorination area B, and then through the calcination/cooling area C.</p> |
